Aurora Glassworks is the sole owner of information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to any outside parties. The information collected is used to process orders and better serve you with pertinent information, such as order confirmations and tracking numbers. Information collected includes your name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, e-mail address, and payment information such as your credit card number. We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our web site.

This site is hosted by IPOWER.com. IPOWER hosts the store pages.  Orders are processed through PayPal ordering system and order data. PayPal automatically collects order information but may only use this information in the aggregate. Please see the PayPal for more information about how PayPal uses this information.

As to the Privacy Policy of Aurora Glassworks, it is simple and straight-forward: We hold your orders and all your information in the strictest confidence and do not and will not ever share your name, email address, mailing address or any information provided by you with any other individual or company.

Ordering

The information collected in the registration process will be used to process orders. During the order process, you will have to provide payment information such as your credit card number, expiration date, money order, wire transfer or check information. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use your contact information to get in touch with you. To properly process your credit card information, we must share your credit card information with the merchant bank for authorization and approval. This process is protected by an enhanced security system. See the Security section below for more details on security measures and procedures. We do not share any personal or payment information with any other third parties.

All trademarks not owned by Aurora Glassworks that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to or ordered by Aurora Glassworks.

Aurora Glassworks takes precautions to protect its customers’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. When our registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the latest encryption software currently available in the industry - SSL. Access to all of our users’ information is restricted. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Shipping and Processing


Q: How are items shipped?

A: Aurora Glassworks ships orders via US insured free of charge within the contiguous United States.  Additional charges apply to Hawaii and Alaska.

Delivery Information


Q: When will my order be delivered?

A: Please allow approximately three to four weeks for delivery.  Because we create each lamp individually upon order received, there may be additional time required to fulfill your order. Aurora Glassworks will make every attempt to complete and ship orders within three to four weeks.  However, there may be additional time needed in the event of higher than usual sales volume.  If customer does not agree to allow additional time, a full refund will promptly be issued.  If you have questions pertaining to your order, please call us at 218-244-3674 or contact us.


Q: How can I check the status of my order?


A: You will receive an e-mail confirmation from Aurora Glassworks when your order has been shipped. The e-mail will include a tracking number for you to use at the USPS web site to track your order. Go to http://usps.com/tracking/tracking.html and enter your tracking number.

Q: Do I have to be present when an item is delivered?


A: Aurora Glassworks requires verification of delivery. It is up to the discretion of USPS to determine if the package can be left with or without a signature. If USPS requires a signature, they will leave a notice with delivery options and instructions.

Q: What do I do if the package appears damaged?


A: If you are present when the package is delivered, inspect it before signing for the delivery. If the package appears damaged but the merchandise looks unaffected, note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

Q: What if I accept delivery and then discover a problem or I wasn’t there in person to sign for the package?


A: If you receive an item that appears damaged from shipping (ex: box is dented), notify USPS immediately.  Do not return the damaged merchandise - the carrier will determine if they need to see the condition of the box at the delivery site. Keep all packaging materials, including interior and exterior containers. Damage claim should be filed with your local USPS office.

Payment:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express via PayPal. PayPal will charge your card at the time of order. If for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled, a prompt refund will be issued and a notification sent to customer’s email address on file.

 Returns:

Contact us to get a return authorization number prior to shipping a return!

 1.    Our lamps are custom made upon order.

2.    Due to variations in monitors, the colors shown on our web site cannot absolutely represent the true quality and hue of each lamp.

3.    Returns without authorization will not be accepted.

4.    Return of the lamp(s) must be initiated within 30days of receipt.

5.    Lamps received after this time period will not be accepted for return.

6.    You are responsible for return shipping costs and insurance for the purchase price of the lamp(s).  To qualify as a return, item(s) must be shipped back in original packaging and in original (new) condition.

7.    If you received damaged merchandise, please file a claim form with your local USPS carrier for the insured value of your item.  Refunds for damaged item(s) are processed and paid through USPS and not Aurora Glassworks.

 We Reserve the Right To:

1.    Correct any pricing or other error and not be held liable to ship or sell an item if we decide a mistake has been made.

2.    Restrict the quantity of lamps ordered.

3.    Determine if a lamp is genuinely damaged or simply displays a true and unique variance that all handcrafted items typically reflect prior to authorizing any refund.

4.    Add additional shipping charges for purchases made outside the United States.

5.    Substitute comparable materials due to suppliers’ inventory and availability.
